Plese help having problems
Well Iv been serching for ever and cant get any answers. My 05 2500 has been acting up alot latley and I could use some advise symptoms: When I am driving around town and push in the clutch to stop rpms drop almost to 500 and truck strugles then it will go back up to normal rpms and drop down to about 700 then back again. Latley when I go to start it in the morning it will fire but hold at 500 rpm and strugle for a secound till getting up to normal about 900-1000. I have read all about the LP problems and am trying to find out how to do a flow test and also where that post went about the shorting wire. Truck kicks out alittle white smoke at first when starting but then goes away I have a c code of A7-37 dont if that means anything pertaining to problem, havent really seen any lost of power. Any help would be greatly appreciated (oh truck has 43,000 on it) if that helps
Fuel fillter was replaced about 3000 miles ago but I was going to do that again just incase i picked up so bad fuel. Dont think dodge is going to honor my warrenty cause of my bully dog unless some one know's of a dealer in utah that will over look it
If anyone can steer me in the rite direction I would really apreciate the input I just found the shorted wire write-up and am looking into that rite now but with my luck it wont be that simple or cheep and easy
the cp3 does not suffer from low feed fuel pressure like the vp44 in fact you can run it in vacuum for ever and not hurt it or suffer loss of power. i would take the bullydog off and drive it to get some error codes that are meaningful in the meantime you could order a smarty jr to read and erase the codes and after the fix you can load or unload the program as needed
