how do i tell if i have the plastic intercooler that was subject to breaking? can someone post a pic of what to look at?

 

The tanks are made of plastic instead of aluminum Seriously the plastic tanks have ridges crisscrossing the tanks and the aluminums are smooth

just knock on it with your fingers if it sounds like metal it is. I had an 05 it had the plastic one. I switched to an 03 and had no issues out of it with over 50psi of boost

 

the intercooler is the radiator with the huge pipes right?

does anyone know the order of the radiators?

 

Comming from the front back to the engine its:
1) Condensor for the A/C
2) Intercooler (Plastic is only on early 05 for about 1/2 a year)
3) will be the radiator for engine coolant

you can tell if you have a plastic capped IC by following the tubes from your turbo to your intake horn.

 

do these truck have a tranny cooler?
