Question Pinion Seal

Yesterday I had a local shop replace my pinion seal for the second time. The first time was a few months back and the leak was fixed for a few thousand miles and then it returned. This time it leaked when I got home. It is still leaving a spot in the driveway and spraying lightly on my rear bumper and trailer.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have been using mopar seals. What should I try now, maybe a new yoke?

Thanks

I just had EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME! TWO PINION SEALS IN A WEEK! At any rate, Dodge replaced them under schwarranty, but it is possible you just had a bad couple of seals. Try one more seal and then install a new yoke. Maybe do the seal yourself, not hard so you know it was done right.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I plan on replacing the seal and yoke next week, I hope this cures the leak.

Thanks for the reply
