Parking brake DIY question

how difficult is it to replace the parking brake pads on a 2003 ram 2500? is it worth taking it to a shop to let them do it? as far as i know there the OEM's still and they did not work that well when i tried them. gotta get a safety inspection so i can get my state tags and those not working is an auto fail.

I just had mine pulled off to change out some broken wheel studs (long story). My disks were a PAIN to get off. Had to use a porta power and a lot of creative words.... If yours are working too good, you may have a bad axle seal like mine has. Or the vent tube is plugged...
