p1749, transmission..

Getting angry now, snapped my billet input shaft 2 weeks ago, I just got the truck back last night and now its in a type of limp mode. Truck is surging a good bit and very low on power. Got a p1749 transmission throttle position sensor circuit low. I tried takin all the sensors out and reconnecting them and clearing the code with smarty but it comes back instantly. What do i do next? Disconnecting batteries didnt work

Fuel de-rates for the 1749 so you won't hurt the trans......so that's a good thing.

Thats a Trans Throttle Valve Acutator error not a throttle position error, the silver motor thingy on the side of the trans that replaced the TV cable. Check the plug and make sure it is tight, clean it up with elecrtical contact spray. Sounds like a bad connection on it.

Thanks...i dropped the truck back off to the guy that fixed my broke input, I believe what your talkin about is right above the pan next to one of those aluminum hard lines right? That is the only one I could not get off so there may be the answer there. My transmission wont shift out of first till like 2300rpm and other times it will shift at 10mph. Pretty wierd I hope its just this electrical problem.

Transmission failure# 10

Well, I've replaced about everything but the ECU. I just did a fresh rebuild.(this time with all HD parts, valve body, built TC, red clutches and fan cooler with large capacity trans pan. Well it FAILED AGAIN. This truck has been on a Flatbed more times than it has been waxed. It's an 06 with (get this) EXACTLY 55000 miles on it when i had Transmission Failure #10!

Anybody have similar issues?
Anybody know how much an ECU is ?
Can I just have it re-flashed?

**** this is getting old. I could have lemon lawed the truck twice by now but I wanted to keep it. (The new ones will not run Mexican Diesel)

Bout to loose it...

((( PLEASE HELP )))
