Guys I need a little help. I fueled up my truck this evening and added Stanadyne additive for the first time. I have used other fuel additives but first time for this one. I have also recently installed a Quadzilla XZT Module and after fueling up I went about 10 miles to a customers place and when I left I was on the highway running 70 when all of a sudden the truck felt like it fell dead and the check engine light came on. It slowed to about 60 and when I applied more throttle it acted like it was falling on its face. I backed off for about 20 seconds and it then picked up and ran like normal. I drove it the rest of the way home and it acted fine all of the way. I checked code with my Snap On scanner and got P0251. I erased the code and it hasnt come back and the truck acts fine. Any ideas would help because it is my work truck and I cant be without it long enough for the dealer to figure it out.

I dont have a clue, but am interested in the feedback since I also have a Quad box(xzillaraider). I don't if this is a reference the to pressure release valve on the common rail or not. Hope someone can help explain for you.

sounds like your lift pump is going to go. mine did something like that and then 2 weeks later it died on the road. lucky i was on a back road returning from dropping my boy off at school. had to walk 51/2 miles home. forgot the cell.
