i have a 06 2500 with the stock trans and a mag hytec trans pan. ive been noticing that when i have the od off and turn it on at around 45-50mph the trans sounds like it shifts down, the rpms go up and then goes into gear. is this normal? also if i turn the od on at 40mph on the nose my truck doesent downshift and it stays in gear. thx for the help.

 

Unlocking the TC before shifting is what you are most likely feeling.
