One more 48re ????

I've added Mag-Tec trans pan and diff cover. Now my question is if and when I have tranny issues because I do pull allot with the truck and I keep reading that this thing WILL die someday, will the dealer give me grief for having aftermarket parts on my transmission even though they improve the life expectancy?

i asked the same question a few months ago there is no firm answer. if its the dealer you bought the truck from probably no problem. if its a different dealer or one you dont do business with its up to them.

I think they would have to prove that the aftermarket product in question (in this case the MH pan) was the cause for or contributing factor to the failure.

Unless by some fluke reason your MH pan failed to hold all the trans fluid in place, I have a hard time believing it could do anything but help the trans. It has no moving parts etc.
