I have noticed after servicing my airaid filter it dries out after several months use. How critical is it to keep these filters oiled?`

 

hold that airaid up to the light, i think you will see light around the stitches it like the k&n was junk out of the box. they are good for this economy , keeps the mechanics in work . check your input turbine wheel to get some idea of damage. even if no sign there you will accelerate ring wear by ten times
