Taste it and see if it taste like Rotella, if it does, make sure that you don't step in it.

Keep in mind they recently changed formulations and different chemistries may have different characteristics.

Don't know but I have 3 gallons of Delo CJ waiting for the next oil change. Guess I'll find out then.

All i can say is, if you use Delo get ready for that stinky sulfur smell and it does not go away.

I just switched to Schaeffer's Premium 9000 and noticed that not only is it green (yes, green...like vomit after lime jello-shots green), but it smells just like the Rotella I was trying to avoid. Fortunately, the smell went away after a few hundred miles, unlike the Rotella which took almost 2 months and 3K miles.

Thanks for the info. Now I won't be spending a premium on Delo CJ to avoid the smell. I just changed the oil with Delo CI+4, wish I could find more of that. Can anyone point me to a CJ oil that doesn't stink?

Costco sells Delo, haven't bought for a while. You get 6 gallons at a time I know. I believe it was $57 for 6 gallons, or $2.38 per quart...
