Oil Pan

Oil Pan

Hello, I have a 2003 2500 QCLB 4X4 auto that has a hole in the oil pan thanks to the wonderful northeast weather, my question is can the oil pan be canged without pulling the motor completly out? If so can ya tell me how or how not, thanks for the help

No the engine needs to be slightly lifted to remove the pan. Unbolt it from the mounts. That should give you just enough room to remove it.

The engine needs to be lifted as much as possible in the engine bay. Then drop the pan bolts. This should give you enough room to work inside the pan and remove the oil pump pickup tube. Once that is removed, you can get the pan out. Reverse to install.
