Oil not draining back into oil pan?????

This story reminds me of a mistake my wife made a few years ago, only it was with our lawnmower

.

She ran it out of gas, then proceeded to fill the crackcase with gas thinking it was the fuel tank. Once she noticed what she did, she dumped the gas/oil mix out right there on the lawn, making a big mess. Then she filled the gas up in the tank, and ran it til it siezed tight. Left it there and never said a word...

I worked at gas stations in high school, got one of my pot smoking buds a job one time, told the boss he would be good.
One day the boss told me my bud tried adding a quart of oil to the radiator, guess my bud wasn't too mechanical!
