My '03 HO 305/555 engine stays clear for 5-6000 towing my 11200 lb 5er or 6-7000 non towing. Rotella 15w-40 and Fleetguard filters.

It's the 3rd injector that is causing the oil to go black in the 04.5-06's It is normal. If you are worried about it. Go down and get you oil anlized before an oil change

Big Dave where can I get oil analyzed? This sounds like a good idea for peace of mind... and warranty.
