Is it possible to lock OD out with a toggle switch? Similar to that of a TQ lockup switch.. I have been pulling in low 1st and shifting to 2nd, i need some more speed...I need to be able to stay in 3rd gear...when i shift to D i go to 4th gear.......Thanks..

BD power also makes a kit so it will perform like the 06' and up trucks. You can select tow/haul or OD lockout with the kit. If you do the dealer re-flash, you will lose tow/haul and only be able to lock out OD like the 04' and older trucks. I don't have the kit but I think it's around $250. and I've read good results on this board.

Well i would love to get the flash done but my something is wrong with my OBD II port...cant get anything to come up on a program or code reader...not sure what the prob there is...i have checked all the fuses....I tow pretty heavy with my truck....I have a 40 ft tri-ale enclosed gooseneck race car hauler as well as a 26 ft dual tandom that i haul tractors and bobcats on regualrlly....I was hoping that it was possible to tap into a wire and ground it out somehow....but the BD kit may be the best thing for me......
