nv5600 rebuild shop, oregon
Anyone have a good experience with a specific shop ? I lost the pilot bearing and it scarfed the input shaft bad enough that I want to replace it. Other than the pilot bearing, the trans has been flawless. The clutch, flywheel and pressure plate looked fantastic. Little wear on the fingers of the pressure plate and the throw out bearing sounds dry, but for 110,000 miles and 90% of it pulling a trailer of some sort it looks great.
So looking for two suggestions...one, a shop preferably in the Portland OR area, that has experience and good reviews for the NV5600....Second, clutch recommendation....I don't want any bucking and such with some massive over kill clutch. I wouldn't mind upgrading from the stock, even though the stock one did great. But I just upgraded to a 15000# fifth wheel, so that may tax a stocker a bit more than my previous trailer.
