NV5600 problem Clutch or Gears?

Hi there, I have an 05 2500 with the NV5600 and I cant for the life of me figure out whats going on with it. Ive had a reacurring problem I cant replicate. In 5th gear every once and awhile when my tuner is turned up when i give the truck a lot of throttle it revs way up but no power. I dont hear any gears grinding or anything just pure no power until i let off the gas and let it grab. Is this a sign of clutch slippage? I did a stock clutch replacement about 40k ago but I havent been nice too it. The truck has minimal upgrades, 63mm turbo, manifold, intake elbow, banks intercooler, and a edge juice, never surpasses level 3. Any thoughts before i spring on a SB clutch?

Sounds like your engine is walking past your clutch. It's what to expect with a stock clutch and engine mods.

Sounds suspiciously like a slipping clutch to me. When this happens, back off on the skinny pedal to give the clutch time to 'grab' and then accelerate a bit more gently. If you can then accelerate with no problem, you can pretty well figure that it is time for a new clutch.

or you can confirm the clutch is slipping by flooring the throttle and holding it there until the smell tells you that it's slipping (5 minutes)
