When the grid heater kicks in and it starts ideling at about 1k rpm, the truck starts shaking, normal?

No. It doesn't sound normal to me.

I would say no because mine doesn't. Just a slight ramping up from set normal idle of 750 RPM to 1000 RPM is all I notice nothing more. Sometimes when real cold as soon as it cranks it goes to 1000 RPM right off the bat, never no shaking.

If the 3 cyl idle is enabled it will give you a real funny shake! Does it smooth out after stepping on the brake? See if it is o.k. in high idle for awhile, then starts the shake. If it is then it's the 3cyl.

yea, it smoothes out as soon as I tap the brakes which obviously disengages the high-idle. The shake is just a little shake, nothing violent or major, just something you can feel a little but goes away as soon as high-idle disengages

3 Cyl idle!?!? What is that? We don't have MDS or anything like that on an inline 6.

I had a little vibration in mine and you could slowly rev it up and you could feel it then about 1200 or so it would go away. You would be fine all the way to redline and never feel it again. Only at low speeds. What it turned out to be was an injector.

3 cyl. idle is a feature that can be enabled to help the truck warm up quicker, in addition to the high idle . I think it has to be below 15 degrees and high idle on for a little while. I have only experienced it a couple of times.

Wouldnt I get a CHECK ENGINE light if it were the injectors? No white smoke or anything tho and I clean my injectors with HOWES MEANER KLEANER and it makes a world of difference, its just strictly whenever the high-idle kicks in, it will shake a little.

Nope I never did! now my first injector didnt come up on the dodge dealer computer but the number one injector did when it went out. I cleaned my injectors all the time as well that is what had me all messed up. I didnt smoke either that is why the mechanic was so puzzled! I changed my fuel filter all the time as well about every 15k to be on the safe side and still had them go. Well when high idle kicks off and goes back to the baseline when you rev it up manually will it still shake? Mine would.

I have looked all day to find it in writing, but I'm sure it is in the customer preference area of the DRBIII. I know mine is on!

my truck also shakes but not every time and I have only noticed it when I use the high idle (but it does not shake every time)Now I am worried that I may be losing an injector
I have not tried to see if it does it by just pushing the accelerator pedal...
anybody else having this problem besides just me and VikingDiesel???
