Normal engine temps???

Normal engine temps???

on the factory engine temp gauge, what is a normal running temp??? mine usually stays right under 200 or right on 200....

That's exactly where it should be................the CR motors have a 195 degree thermostat installed. All is well with your motor.

Typically if it's a couple needle widths below 200*F, you'll be running in the low 190*F's.......at least that's what the Juice tells me.

Running empty, mine stays just under the 200 mark. But towing hard, maybe up a grade etc....I see it climb to around 210-220ish. Hopefully??? That is normal.

Concur with above. I've only seen mine get to 210 when I was pulling one of my buddies fords out of the sand back home. It was almost hub deep, and I was dragging his dead weight for about a mile. Other than that, 190-ish, according to the additude.

Even in the summer heat, here in the desert, mine stays just below the 200° mark.

FWIW, mine shows slightly less than 200 even during the summer.
Iv got a grill insert on mine and still runs around 200.
The onl;y time it got above that was coming out of Denver with a trailer and it got a little above the 200 mark.
