so iv got this 2004 3500 6 speed. no throtle. just idle. ran the codes p2121 and p2127 so i replaces tps/apps witchever one you want to call it. also it is the one under the battery tray. it had a pedal for about 5 min and the dead pedal again, same codes. randomly pushing on the pedal it will work and i have throttle agian but most of the time nothing. any ideas im stuck and dont really know how to test it or where it runs befor or after

The 2003-2004.5 manuals trans trucks with the APPS under the battery can be temperamental.

1st off check all the wires and connections to the Apps. Reseat any connections.
Then reseat the 2 big connectors on the ECM which is on the drivers side of the engine.


This website has further info and a possible fix for an intermittent under battery APPS.

Thank You for the replay. I also forgot to mention a week befor all this happened, had blew injector line number 4. so i was digging around some more and want to the
ECM witch would have been covered in diesel fuel due to the injector line. would that have cuased damage to the
ECM? a short in the harness?

So after cleaning up the conections and resetings code truck ran fine for couple days, yesterday going down the road it went dead pedal agian and light came back, as im coasting i slamed the pedal to the floor a couple time and it came back, been good for about 20 miles now and no hikups yet
