I put the truck into reverse tonight and it wouldnt budge, I tried to go forward and it wouldnt move either. I could feel it engage into gear but it felt like I was standing on the brakes or the E brake was on. I cycled through the gears from park to neutral back into drive, and then I heard a clunking sound and it moved forward. Tested it back and forth and it seems totally fine. I drove home without any problems. And I checked it again later on and you wouldn't now anything happened or anything was wrong. It hasnt shown any kind of problems before. Any ideas?

 

Is it possible your breaks were rusted to the roters? How about your parking brake shoes. Sounds to me that is where you need to start looking.

Another note, when it wouldnt move in drive or reverse I tried to push it in N and it wouldnt budge either. I think I have a brake issue as well. Thanks
