Newbie in need of opinion on sick 2007 ...
New to the forum. Relatively new to the diesel scene. Still seem to have more questions than answers about my truck...
First off, bought my dream truck last year... a 2007 5.9 3500 DRW 4X4. 6 speed. Jake brake. Stock. Perfect! Added a Smarty Jr. for a little extra pulling power. Used as a daily driver until a few months ago and the company truck relegated the 07 to staying hooked to the cow trailer in the pasture and only being driven on the weekends for farm projects. 120k on it now and I'm being introduced to the injector issues. 2 reman Bosch injectors to date. Truck was back to normal for a few days and now throws the P0206 code, something about the injector circuit on #6, which is one of the injectors I just replaced, so I can't believe it would be bad. Can't erase the code and truck is running rough!! Truck now is primarily a towing truck but I'm scared to death to be left hanging on the road with a trailer full of beef...
To the questions....
1. Should I just bite the bullet and replace the other 4 injectors? Am I any better off putting the same crap stock injectors back in as replacements or should I eat the two and go back with a full set of performance injectors?
2. Likely that the P0206 could be fixed with a new valve cover gasket?
3. With the limited use I'm getting out of the truck now (primarily farm towing) would I be better off to cash out the 07 and go find a 12 valve? (My cows care more about the feed sack in the bed than the 17" wheels and shiny paint)
Any opinions would be appreciated. Not looking to break the bank and not necessarily interested in massive hp or anything. Just want a steady, sturdy truck that gets the work done!!! I don't trust this thing at this point.. Somebody knows something I don't because I see these things towing heavy up and down the road everywhere I look. Bought this truck based on its reputation. Maybe I just need to get it through this phase to a point where its my lifetime truck... You tell me...?

Check the valve cover wiring for broken connections, lose connctions at injector. Measure resistance of injectors should be less then 1 ohm but more then 0 ohms. All injectors should each read about the same value.
