They were looking at a tidy profit. Just did all 4 and pitman arm, not tie rod ends, on a '99, for a $100 bucks in parts. Labor cost a few back and body pills!

I got the Dura grapplers in 285/75 as well. I like them so far but i've only had them for 8,000 miles and I haven't gotten a chance to test them out in the snow yet. And about the traction in wet grass, Is there even a tire that is good for that?

I just barely squeezed 30k miles out of my 285-70-17E Dura Grapplers with rotation every 5k. Unfortunately I drive a lot on very coarse asphalt that seems to eat away at the tires. The Nitto's outperformed my D-rated BFG AT/KO's in the same size. I only got 20k out of them.

Tire and rim size

Does anybody know if the dura grapplers 285/75 R17 will fit on the stock rims? I just bought four and the tires states that it needs a 7.5 inch rim or greater and the stock one is only 7 ??? Also, the truck is stock (no lift), will I have any clearance issues, it is a 2007 3500 SRW.

help!
Thanks,
Rob

285/75/17 Fit just fine

To second the fitment issue. 285/75/17's fit just fine on stock chrome wheels.

I have a 04.5 3500 SRW and have zero issues, all stock. No rubbing and I have had it twisted going across some drainage ditches.

Merry Christmas too all of you guys... Wonderful wife bought me a set of Isspro's so they will be going on... as soon as they arrive.

You are the first person I have heard complain about tread wear on the Dura Grapplers. The Terra Grapplers seem to get the most complaints on tread wear.

12k on mine so far, about 2k miles towing, took them in to get rotated and the guy at the tire shop commented on how well they are wearing, saying they still look new, lol.

Well if this matter to you or not but I got 60k on mine. They wore like iron. I found tire preasures made the differance in making them last 65 front 55 rear unloaded. loaded 70 rear. Only thing here is they will dry out faster then ware out.

Dura Grapplers

Howdy,
I had a set on my '03, good solid tire (60k on them) I am now trying out the Nitto HD Grapplers...So far so good,15k kms. seem ok on snow and ice. more road noise than the Dura's but bearable
Nitto seems to build a nice tire all around.

Isn't that the same tire as the Toyo M55?

I've read that a couple times, but have never seen one of the M55's so I can't confirm. After I get a few more miles I'll weigh in on them again.

The M-55's are not comparable to anything in the Nitto line.
