I had some sludge and sand in my fuel tank which ended up taking out my lift pump and damaging the injectors in my 05 5.9 . The dealership says the injectors are running at 85-90 percent does anyone know if I was just to replace the nozzels will this fix the injectors or do they need to be completly replaced . Since I have never worked on the internals of an injector I dont know what all becomes damaged in them. Im puting on a 2 micron secondary filter since the factory filter dosent do much the lift pump is my fault but dodge should cover injectors when they have crap for a filtering system

 

I think if the injectors are in question of being damaged pull them and send them to formula one to be tested,new performance tips installed,and rebuilt if needed

 

Times 2 on the Formula 1 suggestion. It was the best upgrade I made to my 03.

 

whats the cost on 6 injectors to be rebuilt?

 

when did they start rebuilding them last i knew the machinery was to exspensive and that was last year

 

price depends on what size tips you use but to rebuild them price is 100 each but you have to buy his tips

 

Price is $1100 for the tips and complete check out. Only rebuild if necessary. The F-1 injectors were one of the best upgrades I made on my truck. They really woke up the bottom end and I only got the 40hp for improved towing.
