07 and up with the 6.7L have a different trans available. For what you'll be looking for, all of the autos will be the same.

Oh yeah......only the early 03's had the 47RE. Everything later than around 7/03 had the 48RE's. Check the build sheet in the glovebox to make sure which trans it has if it's an 03.

Im staying away from 47RE. I think I will upgrade it when i get it so I will know it will be fine. What are some good brands to look for? I dont think I will fully build it but do the things said above. Let me know.

03 HO autos are very rare, although a few here have them. Generally all 03 autos are SO engines at 250 HP, I think, the HO's are 305 HP and manual. The SO's respond fine to a box.
