New here need some Help!!!!

Hi all I am in Canada and have HID head lights to install any one do this if so can You tell Me a bit of the way around the DTR lights Thanks for any help in advance John

I don't think there's any way to use the HIDs without disabling the DRLs. On the older trucks it was a simple matter of bypassing the DRL module. I would guess on a third gen truck that they are controlled by the Front Control Module, and need to be commanded off with a scan tool. Not sure if a programmer such as the Smarty is capable of toggling off or on any settings like that.

Don't forget to fill out your signature too.. In later years, over 2006 the light system was even more complex with the ECM and power center control. If you call and talk to one of the local shops like CCV in Red Deer, they may be able to help fill in the blanks.

Hey I am in Ontario I never even been to Red Deer lol so I will not be seeing them soon (CCV) I installed the lights and think they will work with My Truck the way I have them set up as to instructions found on the Net..thanks for Your ideas any way Bush
