New:FI pump, trans. pump, htr. relays, still no start below 50

Hard start in the mornings, starts no problem with plug-in, or ether. But never starts fast hot or cold. with plug or ether it still takes a lot of turnovers to start. new batteries. Will not start without ether or plug below 50-60 degrees. New transfer pump, new fuel injection pump, new heater relays, and mechanic says pressures and heater is okay. mechanic is scratching his head looking for ideas.

2003 2500 5.9L Four-door, four inch open exhaust, runs strong (when it starts)

some of my thoughts from reading this thread are: rail pressure relief valve, return flow of the injectors??? could these be right?? any comments or help would be appriciated.

I know this sounds dumb but I gotta ask clogged air filter??
if not sounds like you need a scan tool to see what everything is doing or not doing.....
how does he know the pressures are ok?? is he using a scan tool?? or do you have a fuel pressure gauge??

you need a scan tool that will read rail pressures and all the other fun engine management sensors...
