I live in Puyallup, WA and want to have my tranny serviced.

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to take the truck in my area? Given all the love shown here for dealers, I don't think I want to take it back to my dealer.

I don't mind driving a bit either, just want a place I can trust.

What service are you having done and wherever you take it make sure they have REAL ATF+4 NOT ATF+3 and then adding some sort of additive and calling it ATF+4.

there are some local people who should be able to give some advice.

 

I prefer to avoid dealers. However, I've used Puyallup Dodge on River Road. I'm very specific with my directions. No problems to date. If you don't mind the drive there's the Powershop in Enumclaw. Even further is DDP in Monroe or Rip near Portland.
