You can get it, but it comes with the filter when you buy the filter there.(About $18 for the new filter). Did you get a new filter without it?

No, had my fuel gell on me. Pulled filter & poured in 911. put old filter/o-ring back in. About 5 miles down teh road, the filter cannister was spewing fuel out of the o-ring fit area. Pulled filter and the o-ring was really loosed. Don't know if the 911 I used to get it to ungell cause this or not. Got another filter (which had the o-ring) and did not replace the filter because this one was only 1000 miles old & the fuel was ungelled. So now, I have a filter & no o-ring. Next time I swap out the fuel filter, can I reuse teh old o-ring? Hate throwing a filter away.

yes, if the old o-ring is still in good condition, you can re-use it. Just make sure there's no crud on it and make sure it's got a layer of diesel on it when you put it back on.

Has anyone measured the size of the o-ring?

Sure seems like a waste of $18 to replace a $0.30 o-ring.
