Need new engine and Dodge will not cover it! Need Help!

Well its a long story and I will try to keep it short.

One of our crew trucks, 05 Dodge 2500 5.9L, had an injector foul and now the engine is shot. It had all mopar filters. I left it and a dealership in Odem, TX. They claimed that the truck had metal shavings in the fuel. We went to the shop asking to show us the metal shavings which they could not do. They stated that they found them in the return line. We ask if the shavings could have come from the engine which just made them stutter a bid and never give a definite answer. After a long conversation they told us they would put the truck back together and we could take it somewhere else since they were going to be shut down anyways. They also stated they were not going to report the claim and just let us have another shat at it at a different dealership.

Took it to a dealership in Corpus Christi and they said everything was covered and we were getting a new engine. Then called me back a week later and said there was a prior claim that stated we had contaminated fuel. I have contacted Dodge customer service who stated they can not overturn the claim made by the field rep but would contact the dealership in Corpus and go from there.

Now we are here today with the truck still and the shop and Dodge still has not contacted the dealership. Does anyone have any advice in regards to a situation like this. I have read through a few old forums but still looking for answers.
Thanks for yalls help.

Metal shavings in the fuel could be from a CP3 that shelled out. I have heard of that happening before. That's why they found them in the return fuel line. Hope this helps. That's the only thing it could of been because the shaving would have been caught by the filter. If the filter has no shavings in it then, point and case.

That was my initial thought as well.

I would aggressively pursue DC, and if they did not come around right away, pop them with a Lawyer.

i do not see how a failed cp3 could ruin a engine, if an injector plugs open the black smoke is enough to convince any one to stop

Any thing is possible but I'd say one of your crew ran the snot out of your truck. 35s and a race box on high can kill an engine.

Rick, that appears to be his personal ride, the truck in question is an 05.

Thanks for all the input. Got a call into Obama right now.

I told him I have a health issue with one of my crew trucks.

I had a feeling that a lawyer would be necessary. We have an email into the warranty field rep.
