My new engine doesnt smoke?

my new engine and bosch stix dont smoke black at all. even if i roll into it ,up hill and floor it nothing. clear as can be. my old engine blew tons of black stock. my hypothesis is that if you have a HPCR and it blows black stock, that is a sign of injector wear. not saying you need new stix right aways but sometime in the near future. I think higher pressures and bad filtration(ULSD etc..) are what cause premature injector wear and will continue to be a problem in the future. what do u all figure?

I agree with higher pressure it cause the tips on the injectors to leak and crack. As for the filtration every diesel mechanic i've spoke with agrees the
2M system is the only way to go. As for my re-build i've put 15k miles on it and still no black smoke and very clean oil.

Yeah, I had to re-build mine at 120k and replaced all six injectors and turbo.

The boost will get better over time, it usually takes about 5000 miles to break a re-build in.
