When did they stop a full tank of fuel? Must have been kinda recent.

Mine had a full tank, bought jan. 12, 2006. Maybe certain dealers just do it out of their own pocket.

I have the alum. rims with the chrome "skins" that come on all '06 Laramies and they are rusting also. Only about 300 miles on my rig when I noticed the rust all over everything from the front wheels back and is due to brake dust, apparently. I've been trying to keep up with the rust but can't clean things fast enough in this winter climate. Took truck to dealer and was told it is a VERY common complaint with the new trucks... epidemic-like. They gave me a pint bottle of Mopar Chrome Cleaner (# 04318013) to try remove the rust. Been too cold here to use this stuff properly but it does seem to work on the test spots I did. Not sure what it'll do for the "pitting" already there but the rust seems to come off quite easily. Spring is just around the corner so we'll see soon... the final product.
good luck!

I bought my truck on Feb 28th & the dealer took it to the local Chevron for me and filled it up. It's their S.O.P.

I bought my truck Jan 28 2005 from a Ford dealer in the Used Lot. Not only did the salesman have the tank filled up, they washed and detailed the truck, and he knocked about $3000 off the sticker price. i ended up paying 19,000 even for a very clean 2002 with 40,000 miles. But back to the dealer thing, the closest 5-star dealer to me is a mile away and i will not have my truck worked on there even if it was a matter of life or death. By the way the dealer is called Greigers Dodge for any of you that travel through my part of indiana, they have a very bad reputation for service and i have had first hand experience with it a few yrs ago. If i have to take my truck in for something i can't do or if its warrantied i take it to a dealer (southlake dodge) 10 miles away because of the quality service they do. If i were you i'd go find a better dealer.
