Mpg Increase W/ Dynatracs?

With the price of fuel these days I'm wondering if the addition of free spin hubs would be worth the cost.A 15% increase in mileage would save me about $750 a year in fuel. This mod would pay for itself pretty quick.

it will take awhile to recoup your investment- i did the lock out hubs when i redid my whole entire front end- ball joints, axle u-joints, tie rods, steering shaft, dss bar, steering stabilizer, steering box, brakes, etc, etc, i picked up about a 1-1.25 mpg gain. this gain is 50-50 driving. i would assume i would pick up a little more if i was strictly on the highway all the time.

One of the best mods I've done, but if you're looking at it for a pure mileage gain, you'll be disappointed.

MPG improvements w/GV & Dynalocs.

My buddy just had a Gearvendors and Freespins installed. San Diego to Death Valley in his '07 reg.cab,G-56,285's and popup camper netted him 19.6. That is an increase of 4.5mpg. Probably a combination of the two improvements did it. Engine is stock. The guy can now go 80mph@1800rpm.

I am having Dynatracs installed on Friday, along with a trussed axle, and a locker. Ill chime in again once I get some miles on it to see if theres any improvement. I average around 14 mpg at the moment with mostly city.
