Mounting pressure gauge on CP3
Mounting pressure gauge on CP3
I'm thinking about mounting a small shock proof oil pressure gauge on the CP3 inlet banjo using the banjo snubber fitting from Genos Garage. Anyone see a problem with this?

I must say there MikeyB, either A) you live in a concrete jungle, B) that's a new CP3, or C) you meticulously clean your truck!!!!

Granted, my CP3 is 9yrs old, but the hard lines are discolored badly and the pump itself leaves a lot to be desired. Kudos to you on cleanliness!!!!!
By the way, what's your pressure reading?

Actually I cleaned the CP3 before removing the banjo fitting. Didn't want any crap near the opening!
I clean the engine compartment about once a year.
Pressure wise it's around 16-17psi with a fresh filter.
