Motul Oil?

I use Motul products for racing applications with good success.

Has anybody used their oil for a diesel application?

TIA

Does Motul make a diesel rated oil?

Here is a link to some of their engine oils.

There is 2-3 pages to scroll through. Many of the descriptions list diesels as applications.

Wow! It's going to cost over a $100 for an oil change.

I don't know how a French oil would work in a Cummins, I suspect it would give up pretty quickly.

Motul makes some of the best class 5 base stock synthetics. I only use Motul for my race bikes. You can see a huge difference in internal engine wear and residue with other oils verses Motul. Only drawbacks are: Yes it's French and the price. (But you have to love that honey smell of the Motul!)For auto and truck applications, I believe the standard Dino or class 3-4 base stock syns are just fine. You would be wasting money using Motul in the Cummins.

I use Motul for kart racing. Very good stuff even though it's pricey....and French.

I was wondering if it would work with the diesel application or be overkill. The stuff I use on my kart is rated to 23,000 RPM!
