More power after break-in?
Yes its true.Youll even see a fuel mileage increase. If your not pulling a trailer run it hard and it will make it break in faster. Run it hard and around 12k to 13k you will see a considerable mpg increase which should also give more power.
Also, for trucks with 48re trans, the tranny will teach itself how you normely like to drive. Meaning if you baby it trying to get better mileage,or dont tow a trailer thats how your trans will adjust itself to your style. My truck will spin the tires because I usually dont baby it. But at one plant that is 60 miles one way I drive for mpg, after a week of that I cant hardly get it break the tires loose

"07" software.
My '07 stock is much quicker than my stock '99 was. That being said, however, the software on these '07's seems to be what's holding them back. The aftermarket performance enhancers seem to correct this, but Smarty claims to be undetectable. I'm going to get one after truck has 6-8 K on it..
