Got a free oil change for the Cummins at the dealership I bought it from. What is inside the mopar oil filter they use. The guys on the phone said they dont know its just what ever Cummins/Fleetguard recommends.... I dont want to stick a paper element filter on the truck...........what would the dealership put on the truck when I get the oil changed?!?!

I believe it's the same fleetguard filter, just has the Mopar brand name on it instead.

 

It's a fleetguard filter made for Mopar. It's a good filter.

 

I've used them for years on all 3 of my trucks with no issues. I use Fleetguard now just because I can get them cheaper.

 

Its the regular fleetguard painted grey and says mopar, find a cummins dealer and you can get them cheaper.

 

They have them at walmart for cheap (the factory mopar filter)
