2014 MOPAR filter part numbers (oil/fuel)

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the MOPAR part numbers are for the following.

Vehicle: 2014 2500HD CTD

Oil filter
Engine mounted Fuel Filter
Frame mounted Fuel Filter

I really appreciate it if anyone can help. I've noticed some discrepancies in part numbers and model year of truck on some websites and just want to be sure. I'm not sure I entirely trust my local RAM parts department because they told me my truck only has one fuel filter (which is false).

Thanks

Well believe it or not the oil filter is the same one from the early 5.9L engine days. The Fleetgaurd part NO. is LF16035 for the Stratapore filter which Geno’s Garage sells for $13.50 +shipping. The Mopar version I believe cost more than the above filter and is the standard version oil filter which Geno’s sells for $8.95 +shipping; part NO. LF3972.

The fuel filter for the 2010 and up trucks is (engine mounted) Fleetgaurd Nanonet (3 Micron) FS53000 part NO. from Geno’s Garage and sells for $66.95+ shipping.

The frame mounted filter is FS_MOP68107867 part NO. from Geno’s Garage which they sell for $58.95 +shipping.

Thanks for the info Jim, much appreciated. I had discovered that my truck has a second fuel filter mounted at the rear next to the fuel tank. Apparently some trucks are outfitted with a secondary filter that they call an "extreme use fuel filter" aka fuel filter water separator.

I believe that is the frame mounted fuel filter that is listed for $58.95+shipping from Geno's Garage. Any truck built after the 2013.5 model year introduction truck required this frame mounted filter which is a head of the fuel tank. If I remember correctly and includes another water separator.

Dodge took a simple and cheap idea and made it expensive (frame mounted fuel filter).

Where a $20 head and $12 F/W sep would sit they bump up the tab. Like their Severe Duty Kit they were selling a little while back. I think they stopped that once owners figured out the base thread was 1-14 and you don't have to buy a $100 filter.

So, my question, is there an excuse other than "warranty" why a 13.5'+ owner wouldn't scrap the factory frame mounted fuel filter and install a good ol' 1-14 thread base and F/W sep?

ETA: OP, I second the idea of ordering from Geno's. They know Cummins and getting parts is easy.

Thanks for the input guys, it is a big help.

Shorts I'm curious about your question concerning the severe duty kit.
