missing intake bolt?

ok so took a look under my hood today while checking a few things out and noticed something I havent before, or at least havent remembered seeing. Right in front of the intake horn on the flat is a threaded hole with no bolt. started the truck and it pulls no vacum or leaks boost Mind you not much of either at idle but still. Is this just my truck or everyones. If its mine should I point it out to the dealer or just throw in a bolt? (mind you I installed my own egt and boost guages plus the quad with its harness.)
The dealer as a whole is pretty cool but the service manager is an uncompromising jerk. ( based off one experience, failed me for inspection due to slight tire rub at full lock and wouldnt even show his face and discuss it with me directly. )

Anyways, anyone know bout the bolt hole?

I think you are ok. I am pretty sure that is where the auto's have the assembly mounted for the throttle and tranny cables.

All 24v's are drive by wire, it is just that the sensor is mounted under the hood with a cable to the pedal. the hole you are talking about is for the APPS mount on some trucks. But mine and alot of others, the is sensor is mounted under the drivers' side battery.

The hole you are talking about is the one that used to be used for the ground wire for the intake grid heater.

Since the gaskets are metallic now they ground and the wire is no longer needed.
The hole and boss are still present though.
The hole is blind so no worries mate!
