miss at idle
miss at idle
When the truck is started it idles ruff. After it idles a few minutes I take off get down the road a few miles and stop at red light still idling ruff then starts missing after a few minutes or idling. It feels like 1 cylinder is all its missing on. The ruff idle is like a gas burner needing a tune up, just a light shake to the whole truck.
Just pull all injectors had them tested all are good. When taking them out found injector tube nut loose on number 3 just loose enough to cause it to twist the injector line. Put all the injectors back in torquing them to 89 inch pound. put the rocker arms back in the same place they came from torquing them to 27 foot pounds. Wiring on injectors was put back ever wire returned to the same position they came from and torqued to 13 inch pounds. Replaced copper seal washers and o rings on injectors and tubes.
I could really use some help with this. What to check and how to check it.
Thanks, Bigrod

Dual mass flywheel are notorious for causing vibration that feels like cylinder misfire.
I've chased my tail around more then once with this problem. I would bet money that's your problem. The only way to check it is pull the trans out and pull the dual mass off and start engine check if vibration is now gone.
