Just got back from a trip to FL from IN. Wanted to get some real data so the first tank I did not use the GV running 74mph or less according to GPS. Got 16.2 mpg. The entire rest of the trip (which was much quieter) I used the GV unit and got an average of 19.9mpg running 74mph and better (mostly had the cruise set at 74mph. I am pleased with the results! The GV is a solid investment in my opinion. My around town travel has gone up by about 2mpg as well.

Next will be synthetic fluids and then possibly Dyna Trac. I think that 3.73's would also make a nice difference but it will be awhile before I do that.

I would love to do that John. Did you pick up 2mpg in addition to what you gained with the GV? Hey I noticed that you have a TDI! I have an 03 Jetta Wagon TDI. Put some PP520 injectors in it and raised my mileage by 4mpg and its a lot more fun to drive. Rocketchip is next.

How much are freespins? What will they cost to install? Do you have 3.73 gears or 4.10 like me?

Love to have one of those... the rub is this: I am friends with the guy who started GV and owned it for many years. He sold it and his son is still an exec. there. You think I could get a discount???
