Mileage per Tank?
I can expect to get 450 on a tank (approx 30 gals at each fill) 03 no mods man. 4.10s and 285 70 17 with a topper loaded with 500lbs tools. Most of my driving is city and some 30 mile jaunts on the highway and 1/4 of the time towing. Should I be getting much better than that and what if any would be the most practical mod to increase the mpg?
. I have an 07 as well and you should have a 34 gallon tank like me. If you calculate that out it comes to 14.29 mpg.
My 07 QCSB has a 48re and I only have a bit over 1500 miles. Dont mean to complain but I am averaging 430-480 on a 34 gallon tank. I feel that this is kinda crappy. Other than a PCM update is there anything else taht I can do other than a chip or programmer. My fuel filter should still be brand new since there are such few miles on it. Hey Avenger have you calculated your mileage since your PCM update?
wow guys with the numbers you are getting to a tank,,i wonder what im doing wrong,,i get about 400-450 when im unloaded and about 250-275 with my trailer. granted my trailer is a 53 ft car hauler 3/4 car. I avg about 8mpg wit my trailer. what can i do to get better gas mileage????
