Mega Cab 2500 or 3500?

Said the hitch on the TT should be no more than 1,200 lbs but did not say what the 5'er hitch max is. I bet my Ram can pull 15,700 specially if I add the exhaust brakes and Edge controller I'm thinking about, but am I legal? Dodge website only says when properly equiped. Whats the max I can tow and the 5'er hitch max for my 2500? By the way, I'm thinking of getting a Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pack TH?
I bought a 3500 SRW Mega. It was only a few hundred more than a 2500. And no, the cab lights are NOT standard on the SRW 3500(at least mine doesn't have them) Same height as the 2500 and as said before, the overloads come into play when they contact the frame pads under heavy loads
Thats why I went to a dually was weight issue. My 2500 did very well pulling but here in NC they have cracked down on weight and payloads. I was barely legal with my trailer and hoe. I had timbren rubber springs on my 2500 and the other day I hooked up my trailer and dang it squated my dually almost as bad as my 2500 stock. I wonder what happen to the rear leafs that come on the 2nd generations? I guess I will put the timbrens on my dually.
