Maybe time for new injectors
Maybe time for new injectors
Ok on a recent trip, my 05 4x4 started leaking oil out the breather tube. Before the trip I changed the oil in a hurry. I smelled the oil it smelled normal, but was a little over full. I wondered if I had not let all the oil drain, I was in a hurry it was a emergency. I have the snow performance mpg max, S&b cold air intake and scoop, AFE intake elbow and a smarty set on 7 , a built trans by Browns Diesel with Goerend parts. Also solid axle free spin kit and Eaton limited slip in front, true track in the rear. And mag hy-tech pans.
When I got home I changed the oil, let it all drain out. I shut my snow off, and drove it around. It did not start leaking again until it was under load. My ride has 168000 miles. I don't spin the tire, although I could, but tire arnt cheep. I am looking at a set of injectors from Diesel logic, or j& l diesel in Florida . Or should I have mine all tested and just replace as needed. I don't drive the truck as much as I used to, but I want it fixed.
