Max hp for 3.5 exhaust?

Max hp for 3.5 exhaust?
What is the max hp that the stock 3.5" exhaust is good for before you should run a full 4" setup. New Quad race box on order and just installed new Intake.

It's not necessarily how much it will support as much as how hot the EGT's will be with the mods you plan and the weights you might tow etc. The exhaust does three things, drops EGT's, spools the turbo sooner, and allows the air thru the enigne to keep it operating at best efficiency. You can run a stock exhaust with the mods you mentioned, but the EGT's will likely be hotter than you should run, the turbo will be held back and the performance from the other mods you added will not be able to work at their best performance. An intake is also tied to the same results, air in equals air out etc etc.
