I am just looking for a rough idea.what major parts would I need to change a manual to an automatic? and also what kind of project would I be getting in to. Not looking to do anytime soon or at all if possible just would like to know if I get more into racing cuz they are better for that.

 

Sell your truck and buy an auto. Or trade somebody. It would be too much of a hassle for you

 

What he said.. As attached to my truck as I am, if I decided I ever wanted to go auto, I'd sell it and buy an auto... That being said, I don't think I could ever trade my nv5600 for an auto.

Yeah been lookin into it, I am up for a challenge, I'm stickin with the Stick,I wan't to be able to hang with a manual. I have been talkin to my dad he aint much of a diesel junkie but he knows how to race and he's been givin me some tips on what kind of things to do to the tranny and drivetrain to help me get as much as I can out of those 6 gears as possible, next project is a better clutch and a better flywheel.
