Friend of mine with a 05 dually started death wobble in Kentucky hauling horses. Two new front tires and a steering stabilizer took care of it.Tires were not shot but 75% gone.Stock stabilizer was very weak.Truck had about 85k on it.Now its at 150k and has never done it since. Other night watching Miami Vice they were rushing somewhere in one of those Hummers they drive on the show.Went slightly airborne and when that Hummer hit payment BOY HOWDY on death wobble.Great example of it.Wonder if driver broke any fingers or a thumb it wobbled so hard.

going home.....finally!

Sorry for another prolonged absence. I haven't been home since my last post. I got the ball joints replaced, upper and lower, with Moog's. $750 total. (How does that sound, out of curiosity? Just the ball joints.) My mom, step-dad, and Tubby(my dad) all say it drives like a different truck. I am SUPPOSED to be going home this weekend. I am gonna drive it 90 miles to Louisville so I can hit the same bump, and see if it's cured (as I said earlier, it's the only place it went full-blown). I hope so.

Also, in the spirit of going home, I should have a Smarty Jr waiting for me!!!!! 2 months of wanting to get home to see my dog, wanting to see if my truck is right, and a week of chomping at the bit to play with the smarty. The pup is my first joy. The other things are secondary. All in all, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME!

Thanks for all the input, guys. I will update when I get home. smooth sailing to all.
