Loud clunk/bang from Carli pan-rod bar at frame mount???!

During full or quick turns, my truck emits a sound of a ball peen hammer smacking the frame under my feet. I had my wife turn the wheel back and forth while i chased it down to the frame mount bolt for the pan rod. It appears to have movement but this seems to be the source of the prob. Can the bolt hole oval out? Do the bushings go bad? Need some ideas. I read that the 07s have different size bolts between trucks but nothing else found already in a thread.

I would try retorquing the bolt first.

The re-torque is on agenda here in a minute. Would that allow a clunk though? I am going to drop it down and take a look at it.

thanks guys for the input.

just to recap for anyone that reads this thread. The upper bolt hole was ovaled out from not being properly torqued down. Carli said that they should be wrenched down to 150'lbs. They have one time fix. Order the 06 and up bolts and nuts which are 16mm in dia. A quick push thru with a 15.9MM(not sure what the standard fraction measure was) and in with the new nuts and bolts from MOPAR.
