looking for suggestions and pointers
Unfortunately I feel like a stupid *** because I don't know too much about trucks/lift kits but I want to learn that's why I am here. I have an 04 Dodge 2500 4x4 QC 6 spd manual and the H.O Cummins. I am trying to get a feel for a good lift kit so I can put some bigger tires and wheels on my truck when I get back to the states ( Marine stationed in Japan). If anyone can give me some resources to learn about what I need to do, and pointers on things people forget I would appreciate it greatly. I am looking to go for more than 6" on my truck but not looking into doing anything super expensive I.E custom four link but just good kits to put on that will make it look good but hold up. I have heard about people having to shim driveshafts and add dampeners onto the suspension and what about steering stabilizers and what not? can anyone elaborate/enlighten me on the subject. Please don't criticize I just want to learn. thanks to anyone who helps. you can send me personal messages I don't mind any help is appreciated. thanks once again.

I have a KORE suspension which isn't really a lift kit. But I can tell you that anything over 6" is going to be EXTREMELY expensive. That's all I can help you with... Kelderman is one name for the big lifts... there are others.
