Question Looking for good Phoenix area mechanic

I just just bought a 2003 Dually with a non-running CTD. I need to get this thing running and eventually plan on drag racing it. Who do you guys in Arizona recommend to work on my truck?

I've searched the archives for Arizona mechanics and all the posts seem to be a few years old.

Thanks!

I've heard Power Dodge on Bell and I-17 has great diesel mechanics... but they're a dealership...

Fred Swanson does very competent work. He's in Waddell. 623-910-9575. He's an authorized DTT installer/distributor.

I have never had them work on my truck but they sometimes hold all diesel dyno events and seem to be fairly competent diesel mechs. Try Bartling Enterprises in Queen Creek.

I have had Bartling Enterprises work on my 04, Excellent job, very courtious, only bad thing is the are extreamly busy. Last time I was down there they had the shop full and trucks waiting. What I like about these guys is they are a independant shop so they care about what work they put out.

What area of AZ are you in? If you are in the valley, what side?

I've used Chucks Speed and RV a couple of times.

There is also Western States Cummins in avondale.
If they cant get your cummins running, nobody can.

Big D Truck & Auto, 625 E McKellips #2, Mesa AZ. "480-969-5403" Talk to Dan, the owner. Small independent shop. Honest, knows what he is doing, most importantly, STANDS behind his work. No attitude or bs frills, just quality work. He does all my work that I can't do myself as well as helps me keep up with my 3 kids cars. (yes, I have made the 200 mi trip for his services) He knows Cummins, DMAX, PS as well as 6.5L. Point being, very well rounded knowledge.
