Mine was doing this. There's a TSB for it although I'm not sure it applies to yours being that it's an 04. Before they ran the TSB, they told me my lift pump was starting to fail causing low suction pressure to the injection pump. I didn't have time to wait for parts so I asked 'em to run the TSB. This fixed the problem to a point. It still hard starts every now and again. This is much better than almost every start though. I suppose I'll take it in to have the lift pump replaced when I have a day of down time. If there's no TSB for your year of truck, I'd look into the lift pump issue.

This is the one they did to my truck but I don't think it applies to yours.

mine is in for a long crank again (5th time). 3 weeks ago they replaced the lift pump and problem solved, however it started doin it again this week so i sent it back in. today they called me and said that they are replacing 2 more injectors, one year ago i had 3 injectors replaced when it did this. every time i get a long crank and fear the worst, so i hope your luck is better than mine cuz im begining to hate the piece of junk they call a truck. also id like to know why this thing keeps dropping injectors (5 in one year is not a good sign)
